Q. Are your products safe to take for those with allergies?
A. Yes! All of our products are allergen & gluten free and contain no yeast, wheat, milk, eggs, soy, gluten, salt, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, artificial colors, artificial flavors, salicylates, or preservatives.
Q. I purchased a product and the outer seal is intact, but the inner seal is loose. Are they still safe?
A. The product is safe if the outer seal of the product has not been tampered with. The inner seal may become loose in some cases due to moisture; however this does not affect quality of the product.
Q. I left my gummy vitamins in my car and they melted. Are they still safe to eat?
A. Your gummy vitamins are still safe to ingest. However, we recommend placing your gummy vitamins in a reasonably cool place as subjecting them to high temperatures may cause water-soluble vitamins, such as Vitamins B and C among others, to dissipate.
Q. Where do you manufacture your products?
A. We manufacture all of our products in the U.S. in an allergen and gluten free facility.
Q. Do you offer any vegetarian products?
A. Yes! We offer the following vegetarian products: Bear Bites Multi Vitamin and Mineral Vegetarian Formula and Bear Bites Calcium + Vitamin D Vegetarian Formula. Our vegetarian products are made with pectin from fruit and are Vegetarian Approved!
Q. What is the source of your Omegas?
A. All of our Omega 3.6.9 products are Fish Free, and made from fruit oil.
Q. What is the source of the colors used in your products?
A. All of our products contain all-natural colors including annatto, black carrot, turmeric, and purple berry concentrate.
Q. What is the source of the flavors used in your products?
A. All of our products contain all-natural flavors including cherry, grape, lemon, orange, pineapple, strawberry, and strawberry-banana.
Q. What is the shelf life of your products?
A. All of our products have a shelf life of two years under normal conditions meaning they are kept reasonably cool. We recommend refrigeration to keep the product at a consistent temperature.
Q. Can I give Bear Bites to my child if he/she is under four years of age?
A. We do recommend your child be at least two years old, however Bear Bites are safe for children of any age who can safely chew and swallow.
Q. How many Bear Bites do I give my children if one is 45 pounds and the other is 75 pounds?
A. Servings per product do vary, however both children require the same daily values and the serving size recommendations for each product should be followed.
Q. Do you have any products for children with Attention Deficit Disorder?
A. Yes! Brite Bites contains clinically proven ingredients that are essential for proper brain development, enhanced concentration and improved mood and behavior. Scientific research shows that the DMAE found in Brite Bites can help with focus and attention span, and may be perfect for a child with Attention Deficit Disorder.
Q. In your Bear Bites products that are vegetarian, what source does the pectin come from?
A. The pectin is derived from fruit.
Q. Is there any mercury in your Bear Bites with DHA?
A. Our DHA product is specifically tested for this and no mercury has ever been found.
Q. Your Bear Bites Multi-Vitamin and Mineral has Vitamin C. Is it okay to take it with Wholefoods, Vitamin C, and/or Echinacea, which all contain Vitamin C as well?
A. Yes, these products are designed to be taken together. Vitamin C is water soluble, so if you take the recommended dosage of each product, your child will be within the normal range.
Q. Can I give my child the Bear Bites Wholefoods and the Bear Bites Multi-Vitamin and Mineral at the same time?
A. Yes, your child can take both the Bear Bites Multi Vitamin and Mineral and the Wholefoods together on a daily basis. However, to avoid surpassing the daily recommended value of vitamin A, we do suggest giving your child only two of each variety.
Q. How does Echinacea work? Why can my child only take Echinacea for ten days?
A. Echinacea is the best known and researched herb for stimulating the immune system. It should be used at the onset of cold or virus symptoms and for seven to ten days only as Echinacea becomes inactive in the body if used on a regular basis. For prolonged use of this product, we recommend ten days on and ten days off.
Q. My child ate more than the daily serving of Bear Bites. Do I need to take him/her to the doctor?
A. Parents call about their child consuming more than the daily dosage and generally, the only concern may be a little tummy ache. If you have any serious concerns, please check with your health care professional.
